FSI will purchase, sell, refurbish, lease, recondition and provide technical (repair) training for medical imaging laser printers and X-ray film handlers (Multiloaders) used in radiology departments of Hospitals and medical centers around the world.
Started in 1985 as Allegheny Medical Imaging in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, First Source was incorporated in 1999. There are
4 branch offices, Charlotte NC, Houston, Texas, Pittsburgh, Pa. and Rochester NY. FSI has a diverse client base including Hospital supply dealers and resellers, Hospital Biomedical Engineering groups, Large parts dealers and resellers. FSI is an authorized dealer for North American Imaging (also known as the DICOM Box)
First Source has a complete line of Kodak Dry and Wet lasers, parts, PM supplies and peripheral equipment to keep your
distributed imaging systems running smoothly and cost-effectively. Our expertise in sourcing parts and training has saved
customers millions of dollars traditionally paid to the equipment manufacturers.

Our service partners and dealers create
a virtual service network of nearly 300 Field engineers who, with technical support from FSI, are able to save their
customers significantly in parts and service expenditures. FSI has trained close to 300 engineers on these products as well as Medical Imaging technology, DICOM (Digital Imaging and Communication of Medicine) interconnectivity and
PACS (picture archiving systems) or “filmless” imaging systems in hospitals. Future classes will address advanced DICOM
troubleshooting and additional imaging products.
