The Kodak™
DryView™ 8500 Laser Imaging System delivers the same
benefits as the Kodak DryView 8700 in a 10" x 14"
format. Both deliver the superb diagnostic image quality radiologists
demand and both offer proven operational benefits-including
cost savings and simplicity. DryView systems also provide
proven, world-class reliability, which helps explain our near-perfect
customer satisfaction rating.
11" x 14" solution
The DryView 8500 laser imager is an ideal
system for facilities that use computed radiography (CR) or
for radiology departments that require a reduced film size.
Direct-connect and network printing options
We offer the DryView 8700 and 8500 systems
in two configurations. The direct-connect system lets you print
images directly from almost any modality. The DryView PACS
Link configuration allows the DryView 8700 and 8500 systems
to convert modality images to DICOM and receive DICOM image
data over a network for fast, affordable filming.
PACS Migration
lf you're considering printer networks
or PACS, the DryView PACS Link system provides a flexible,
DICOM architecture you can build on. It is a perfect fit for
your migration path.
Lifetime film archivability
Kodak™ DryView™ Laser Imaging
Film delivers high-quality, continuous-tone images and crisp
alphanumerics. It offers lifetime archivability (100+ years).
This is especially important for digital full-field mammography
and pediatrics. DryView film also features a blue/black image
tone, which radiologists are accustomed to viewing.
The science behind superior image quality
DryView systems are true laser imagers. They
feature the same laser imaging technology we perfected with
our wet systems more than a decade ago. Laser imaging technology
provides the broad gray scale and continuous-tone images required
for diagnostic excellence. Also, because the DryView laser
diode never makes contact with the film, ¡t never wears
out. This ensures precise, image quality.
Automatic Image Quality Control
Kodak's laser imaging technology and patented
Automatic Image Quality Control (AIQC) system ensure superb
image quality. A built-in densitometer adjusts printing variables
automatically to meet pre-set user preferences.
Sitting flexibility
The DryView 8700 and 8500 laser imagers
do not require special facilities or plumbing. Locate them
anywhere you need to produce high-quality films.
Simplify your laser imaging operations
The DryView 8700 and 8500 systems both
help simplify your laser imaging operations, because we provide
a single source for service and supplies, and help you establish
consistency in the image quality and appearance of films.
